What is the Sellaronda?
Sellaronda is a circular route located in the Dolomites of northern Italy. It that can be traversed on skis during winter and by bike in the summer. The route spans around the Sella massif, interconnecting four stunning valleys: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba, and Val di Fassa. For skiers, the Sellaronda is approximately 40 kilometres/27 slope kilometres long, cyclists have to cover a distance of more than 50 kilometres.
The Sellaronda circuit links four iconic passes, including the panoramic Sella Pass Dolomites area, creating one of the most scenic loops in the Alps.
Sella Pass
Sella Pass, one of the most scenic viewpoints in the Sella Pass Dolomites area, connects Val Gardena with Val di Fassa. The pass offers striking views of the Sassolungo and the Sella Massif and is a popular starting point for hikes and panoramic stops on the Sellaronda route.
