Welcome to Hotel Alpenrose Dolomites in La Val

Hotel Alpenrose Dolomites***S in La Val stands in a calm position at the edge of the village in Alta Badia, surrounded by meadows and residential homes typical of this Ladin area. We had a truly wonderful stay! As soon as we arrived, we fell in love with the newly renovated part of the hotel – so stylish and designed with great attention to detail. Our junior suite was simply a dream: modern, comfortable, absolutely quiet, and equipped with everything you could wish for. We especially loved the fact that you couldn't hear anyone else's noise, even in the bathroom – truly relaxing! The view left us speechless every time – so beautiful that you just wouldn't want to let it go. The wellness area with pool was also wonderful, just the right place to unwind and unwind. One small disappointment: the service in the restaurant could be improved. But that didn't really spoil our overall impression, because the rest of the hotel was simply wonderful. We left with big smiles and already know: We'll definitely be back!

We stayed there for four nights in September and had fabulous weather. We received a very warm welcome and were given a great room with a view of the mountains. The host was very friendly and gave us great tips for hikes. Overall, we felt very comfortable. The wellness area with pool is modern and has a great view. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed using it to relax after our hikes. It was open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The breakfast was nicely presented as a buffet. There were a variety of coffees available for self-serve use from the fully automatic machine. Scrambled or fried eggs were available upon request. Since we were part of a larger group staying at the hotel, the service was occasionally busy. The dinner was of high quality and we enjoyed it. You could choose from three options for each course.

Highly recommended hotel, ideal for guests who enjoy hiking and wellness. The food is excellent, thanks to our friendly service. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the new wellness area is simply fantastic: a pool, exercise equipment, sauna, and massages on request—everything is top-notch. There's also an underground parking garage with an elevator for cars. The hotel also has a passenger lift. We thank the Molding family and the entire team.

The location is simply fantastic! Rooms: The new rooms are very tastefully furnished, with a great view from the balcony. The bathroom is large with a rain shower. The wellness area is very nice and easy to use (since it's not crowded in September). Service: Very friendly staff. The 3-4 course dinner is very good, and the breakfast buffet still has potential. You can also start hiking or biking from the hotel, as there's an e-bike/bike rental right across the street.

The hotel is in a good location; the village in which it is centrally located is very quiet and secluded. The property is divided into two areas: the older part (which houses the entrance, the two dining rooms, one of which has been renovated, and the bar); the newer wing is below the historic building and houses the more modern rooms and the wellness center. The rooms I highly recommend are the newest I've stayed in. Excellent cleanliness, friendly staff. The spa has a large sauna, plenty of sofas, and four spacious showers (everything spotlessly clean). The pool is outdoors, which makes me think it might not be very pleasant in the winter, as you have to walk a few meters to get there. Plus, the water isn't warm at all! I hope it's significantly warmer in the winter. The pool lacks jets or bubbles, which would be much appreciated after a long hike or a day on the slopes. Finally, the food is reasonably good, but they're not very good at cooking meat. The buffet for both dinner and breakfast is quite generous. Please note: the garage is accessible only by elevator and stairs. pedestrian and freight elevators for vehicles.

Very nice, quiet hotel. We had a large room with a beautiful view. Breakfast and dinner were always very good, too. Nice heated pool for cooling off after hikes. 100% recommendation!! Wengen is also not as crowded as, for example, Abtei or Stern, as it's not located on a main road.

Fantastic location, close to both La Villa and San Vigilio di Marebbe, yet away from the chaos. Impeccably clean, new spa with large pool and terrace with enchanting views. Superlative, varied cuisine, and very welcoming staff and owners, excellent value for money for the area. Highly recommended!!!

Spacious, functional, and clean rooms, with friendly and helpful staff. The spa is new, with spacious relaxation areas and a very intimate atmosphere. Along with the pool, it's the hotel's true highlight. Improvements could be made to the variety of the breakfast and dinner buffets, but the food is good and the menu offers a wide variety, including regional dishes. Convenient location, away from the tourist crowds and surrounded by beautiful meadows and mountains, with buses that take you almost anywhere in the Dolomites in just over an hour.
