Ütia de Börz occupies a scenic position at the top of Passo delle Erbe, at approximately 2,006 metres above sea level, near the Puez-Odle Nature Park and at the foot of Sas de Putia. The building blends traditional alpine elements with natural wood furnishings typical of the region, and its elevated location offers extensive views across the Dolomite landscape. Accommodation units include rooms with private bathrooms and some with balcony or mountain outlooks.

We spent (unfortunately) just a weekend at Ütia de Börz, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. Even before our arrival, we already felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for – every question was answered with patience, and any booking adjustments were handled with kindness and flexibility. What truly stood out was the exceptional team – incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Jasper, who answered all our questions even before our stay, and to Georgia, who shared wonderful hiking tips and made us feel at home right away. Their warmth and enthusiasm added so much to our experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere relaxed yet full of heart, and the views from the lodge are simply breathtaking. Our room was spotless, cozy, and perfectly designed for a peaceful mountain escape. Whether you come to hike, unwind, or simply breathe in the Dolomite air, this place truly feels like a little piece of magic. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone at Ütia de Börz – we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

The staff were all very lovely and provided excellent service, especially the receptionist, who was a very cute little guy. The accommodation was excellent, clean, spacious, and had a great view. The location was private. However, the drive up to the accommodation was a bit challenging, as the road was winding. However, I highly recommend it. The food was delicious and the value was excellent. I will definitely be back.

The staff is wonderful and incredibly kind. I came back from a hike with a panic attack and they gave me a blood pressure machine and stayed with me until I felt better. It made all the difference and I'm deeply grateful, thank you <3

It's hard to admit, but sometimes we specifically pass through Passo Erbe to try the best strudel we've ever had. It's a shame I don't have time to try the rest, if that's what I'm talking about...

Excellent experience with a fabulous location. Stayed with my family the weekend of closure. Despite this, most of the staff were professional right up until the end. Five stars are almost too few for this hotel. Everything is just perfect here. Reception and service. Great rooms with large bathrooms. Everything is very comfortably furnished, clean, and well-maintained. Breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant also scores highly with very friendly service and excellent cuisine. And the overnight stay under a starry sky, sunset, and sunrise in the morning. Unique. A wonderful experience, especially for our friends from Paris. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

After our hike around the Putia, we enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant and received attentive service. The room had a beautiful view and was tastefully furnished. However, one major drawback was the constant roar of the fireplace on the outside wall. It was only bearable with earplugs!
