Welcome to Berghotel Sexten in Sesto

Berghotel is located in the Val Fiscalina area near Sesto, within the landscape of the Sesto Dolomites and the Three Peaks region. The hotel complex has been developed using untreated wood, stone and glass, creating a structure that reflects the surrounding alpine environment in both materials and layout. Accommodation ranges from classic rooms to larger suites, studios and chalet-style units, many with balconies and views towards the Dolomite peaks and the Val Fiscalina valley. The position at approximately 1,370 metres above sea level places the hotel directly within the hiking and ski area infrastructure.

The wellness area forms a central part of the hotel concept and includes several indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools, multiple saunas, relaxation rooms and treatment areas. Dining focuses on regional and organic products, combining South Tyrolean cuisine with broader alpine and Italian influences. Outdoor activities near Tre Cime di Lavaredo

The surroundings of Berghotel Sexten support outdoor activity throughout the year. Hiking paths and mountain routes begin directly near the property, with the Sesto Dolomites offering approximately 182 km of trails in the immediate area and more than 600 km within the wider Tre Cime di Lavaredo region. In winter, the ski slopes of 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski area, winter hiking trails, cross-country tracks and snow-shoe routes are accessible directly from the hotel area, reducing the need for daily transfers. The location also provides connections towards destinations such as Lago di Braies, Dobbiaco, San Candido and Cortina d’Ampezzo.

We stayed here in October with our son, and the hotel is beautifully situated. The service and food were excellent. We will definitely come back in the future. The location is perfect for hiking, as there are many trails and mountain lifts nearby.

We (2 adults, 2 children) spent a week in a Swiss pine chalet at the mountain hotel. The room was fantastic, with a beautiful view and plenty of space. The hotel is ideally located for hiking and offers stunning views of the Fischlein Valley and the Dolomites. The spa and pool are also very nicely designed. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was plentiful, regional, and always of the highest quality. It was a wonderful stay, and we would love to come back.

A truly pleasant stay! The hotel is large but meticulously maintained, with welcoming spaces and a beautiful, comprehensive spa: in addition to the panoramic sauna, where two sauna events are held daily, there are two other saunas, a Turkish bath, and a splendid indoor pool connected to the outdoor pool. Outside, there's also a 24-hour outdoor pine sauna, truly charming and relaxing. We also had a massage: the woman was very competent and professional. The food is excellent, with great attention to gluten-free options and allergens. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, both sweet and savory, and I was always able to choose the dishes I wanted from the menu, which were specially prepared in gluten-free versions. The dishes were carefully prepared, unique, and tasty. Even the gluten-free bread, available in both white and brown, was excellent. During afternoon tea, there were always plenty of sweets and at least two slices of gluten-free cake, a truly thoughtful touch. We had booked a tour that had to be changed due to overnight snowfall, but the staff managed to replace it with another equally beautiful outing. Kudos also to the guide, who was very knowledgeable and passionate about explaining the history and interesting facts of the area. All the staff were always very friendly, attentive, and helpful, helping to make our stay even more enjoyable. A perfect stay in every way: relaxation, nature, excellent food, and genuine attention to the guest's well-being.

We had a wonderful stay at the mountain hotel. The mountain views are unique, and there are many hiking opportunities. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, and the products are of very high quality!

We booked the hiking package at the mountain hotel at short notice. The hotel is perfectly located for hiking, and the mountain lifts are easily accessible. Unfortunately, most of the mountain huts were already closed at the end of October. The view of the Dolomites around Sexten is simply magnificent! The friendliness of the service staff and the excellent food deserve special mention. Both breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. The hotel is well-suited for families and is frequently used by them. Those seeking peace and quiet should keep this in mind. Our only minor suggestion for improvement: The temperature in the relaxation rooms of the spa could be a bit warmer. We will definitely be back in winter. The slopes right outside look very inviting :-)

One of the best holidays we've ever had. Thanks to the stunning location, great excursion options, delicious food, and diverse leisure activities at the hotel. A truly wonderful stay! We felt very welcome and taken care of. It's a very family-friendly hotel. The wellness area is beautiful and very uniquely (positively) decorated. Both breakfast and dinner were truly excellent. The quality of the food and the products used were noticeable. Furthermore, the hotel is otherwise very climate-neutral, which may please some. In our opinion, the nude sauna area was a bit too open and too close to the terraces. Compared to other hotels, there were quite a few children, which is great for families but still something to consider for a couple. The hotel has an excellent location and is filled with love and charm. We would highly recommend the hotel, especially for families with children.
