Set in Dobbiaco in the Val Pusteria region, Hotel Moritz offers access to some of the Dolomites’ finest playgrounds. In summer, you can embark on hikes high into the ridges, cycle forest paths around Lago di Braies, or wander to the shores of the nearby Lake Dobbiaco. In winter, the hotel is near the cross-country network and within easy reach of major ski areas such as Kronplatz and 3 Zinnen Dolomites, making it an excellent base for both snow-shoeing and downhill skiing. The room was very cozy and clean, and the bathroom looked fairly new. The room's amenities left nothing to be desired. The bed was very comfortable :) The hotel's entrance area and the dining area are a bit dated; they could use some modernization in the near future. However, the service and dinner were very good, especially the salad buffet and the schnitzel. Breakfast was good; you could order a breakfast egg or scrambled eggs directly from the waitress. The location is great for visiting Lake Braies or the Three Peaks. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. The price-performance ratio is excellent!

This is my second private stay at the Hotel Moritz in Toblach – and I'll definitely be back! The location is ideal: right in the center of town, yet quiet, and everything is easily accessible on foot. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, fresh, and prepared with attention to detail. From arrival to departure, the staff was attentive, friendly, and always keen to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The atmosphere is informal without being intrusive. And the value for money is simply perfect: comfortable rooms, good food, attentive service – all at a fair price. I recommend the Hotel Moritz to anyone looking for well-kept, charming accommodations in Toblach. 5 out of 5 stars!

The owners and staff are super helpful, welcoming, and kind. The cuisine is simple but very good. The room is renovated and spacious. The location is excellent and central. Highly recommended.

Pros: Everything was clean and new, and the veranda and bathroom were spacious. The staff were friendly and the location was great. The soundproofing seemed good. Cons: The room was very small (single room), and the hair dryer was too weak. The breakfast wasn't great.

Absolutely fantastic hotel . We had a very spacious room. Everything was super clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want to set off early for a hike, you can get a mountaineer's breakfast! We had a wonderful week here.
