Hotel Al Sasso Di Stria

Rooms nice, but elevator not available in all buildings. Drive to hotel mountain location is exciting. Restaurant provides great dinners at reasonable prices. But I give Nick the manager and the hotel owner 10 stars for their service. Why? I had a heart ‘event’ and Nick helped me get to a hospital and they helped my wife and sister get to me the next day. No amount of thanks is enough. I’m now back in the U.S. and recovering nicely, but without the extra service we received at this fine hotel…who knows. Thanks Nick and the owner of Al Sasso di Stria!!!

This hotel is very close to Wuta Mountain and offers free parking and pre-booked breakfast and dinner, so we booked it. Upon arrival, we found it to be truly excellent value. It provided everything we needed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The two handsome men at the front desk were especially attentive and considerate. I'm truly grateful to them. When I fell while hiking, they meticulously applied medicine and bandaged my body. Every time they passed by, they asked if I was feeling better! I'm truly grateful!

A hidden gem, near Passo Falzarego, is under new management! If you are doing the AV 1, you should strongly consider this hotel just 2km from Passo Falzarego. It's a great alternative to some of the refugios in the region that get booked up very early in the season. They also offer a shuttle service (a 5-minute drive) that can take you up to the Pass when you start hiking again the next day. The new management is doing a great job of resurrecting this old hotel. The rooms are newly renovated, and the food and service are great.

Awesome staff, good location Super noisy rooms, dogs in rooms around us, showers were deafening in rooms next door….. Beds were not fantastic Ok breakfast ; nothing amazing Dinner was good as we did half board No kettle Again ; great staff , super friendly and helpful

Without a doubt, I have to say that the hotel exceeded my expectations. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who explained everything and made us feel very comfortable. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, just minutes from the Cinque Torri route. It has every comfort, the food is delicious, the half-board menu changes daily, the staff is super friendly, and we were pleased that they also spoke Spanish. They were also kind enough to do us the favor of washing clothes we needed clean, free of charge. In short, we would definitely return and recommend it 100% :)

The staff in this hotel is amazing! They are so nice and helpful. They went out of their way for us and we appreciate it so much. Special thanks to the receptionist Matias, he made our days with his smile and kindness. Rooms are clean, with such a nice smell. We ate breakfast and dinner and it was amazing, they also have some vegan options. We are sad we are leaving this hotel and hope to come back soon!

All staff were nice kind and helpful someone even offered to possibly give me a ride up. Breakfast was awesome and room very clean I can’t express how nice it is to have radiator on at night! WiFi is good stable too. The only thing is its location is by a freeway and only accessible by cars. If you are doing hut to hut hiking and booked here cause all Refugios are full, make sure you hitch hike down here or have your logistics all figured out.
