Camping Rocchetta

We came in August and, having read the reviews, we arrived before noon to secure a spot. The restrooms were clean and fairly modern. We were able to choose our location and there was a lovely view.

Nice place

Camping in an extraordinary location like Cortina d'Ampezzo. Clean facilities, very clean bathrooms with music, and a charming bartender who loves dogs. There's also a safe and peaceful area for walking your pets. The only thing worth mentioning is that two nights are mandatory, but it's not a problem given how fantastic the place is.

We visited in September, so it was the end of the season. Even though the campsite was full of people, it was surprisingly quiet. They take no reservations, so it's best to arrive early to find a spot. The campsite is lovely with a beautiful view. The facilities are clean. The toilets and showers are super clean and there is always hot water in the showers. There are washing machines and dryers available as well as a space to do the dishes with hot water available. Bins and running water are available everywhere. We didn't use any of the services with extra fees. Staff speaks ok English and responds to emails quickly. You can pay with card. Kudos to the janitor who was super nice, greeted people with a smile and he always made my day better! There are a few things I didn't like though: -WiFi was only available at the bar -No kitchen or a place to sit and eat your meal - I know, it's a campsite, you can use your own table and chairs, but I've been to campsites where kitchen, places to sit, tables with roofs, or hammocks were available. This place was pretty basic. -We could only charge our phones in the bathrooms -There was only one building with toilets, so if you're staying at the other end of the campsite, it's quite a walk, especially at night.

The site is in a lovely setting and very near the town. They were able to accommodate us last minute. Lots of toilets and showers so we didn't really have to queue and they were very clean. Would recommend!

I really liked this quiet campsite with a great atmosphere. Impeccable sanitary facilities with music! We even heard the deer roaring in the early morning!! All the staff members are super friendly and helpful. No reservations are possible, which is a good thing. This gives everyone a chance to enjoy this superb place, but remember to arrive early! By 4 p.m., only the least attractive pitches remain. By 6 p.m., the campsite is full (even in mid-September).

We stayed here for one night during our camping trip through the Dolomites. This was by far our favourite campsite. The views from our pitch were beautiful. There were many trees around which gave a sense of privacy. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a small restaurant and shop on the campsite which makes it easy to grab some last minute items. The walk to the town centre is about 20 minutes and is a lovely walk. Would highly recommend!

We stayed two nights and everything was perfect, the plot was large, everything was very clean and tidy, the staff was perfect.

Unfortunately our stay was affected by the rains but everything was very good except its location which forces you to take the car or the bus to go to the center of Cortina. In the shower room you can bathe with heavy metal music in the background, quite a fun experience.

Stayed here for two nights , the location was OK the pitches were rough and ready in general but nothing a set of ramps didn't sort out The toilets and showers were all clean and very usable and the staff very friendly and helpful
